Terms of Service

Your booking shall be confirmed and a formal contract shall take effect once we send an email confirming receipt of your required deposit. All bookers must be aged 18 years or older. You agree to supply us with complete, truthful and accurate personal and travel information at all times.

All prices displayed on our official website are subject to adjustment without prior notice. All quotations remain subject to revision prior to formal booking confirmation. All quoted prices are denominated in Chinese Yuan (CNY), the local currency of China.

Based on your specific itinerary and tour departure date, a deposit equivalent to 10% to 100% of the total tour cost shall be payable upon booking. The remaining outstanding balance must be fully settled between 45 and 15 days prior to your scheduled departure date. Your dedicated travel consultant will inform you of exact deposit and balance payment requirements before you finalize your booking.

You bear sole responsibility for obtaining and carrying all legal documents and identification required to enter mainland China. Such documents include (but are not limited to) a valid passport, Chinese tourist visa, special regional entry permits, official certificates and travel insurance policies. Your passport must remain valid for a minimum of six months counting from the final travel date stated in your itinerary. While traveling within China, you must carry the identical travel documents whose copies you submitted to QIYU CHINA TRAVEL.

The Chinese authorities require foreign visitors to apply for special entry permits before traveling to restricted regions such as Xizang (Tibet). We will offer procedural assistance for permit applications, yet you are fully responsible for providing all supporting documents as requested. We cannot guarantee that the Chinese government will approve your permit application even if you submit all required materials completely.

Any fees, losses or extra expenses arising from missing, expired or invalid travel documents shall be borne entirely by you.

It is your sole judgment to decide whether a tour fits your physical condition. We strongly recommend consulting your personal doctor to confirm your physical fitness for travel and all scheduled sightseeing, hiking and outdoor activities covered in the itinerary. We do not provide professional medical advice; please consult your physician regarding necessary vaccinations and health precautions for travel in China.

Many destinations covered in our tours include remote and underdeveloped areas, where medical support may be limited and medical facilities may not match the healthcare standards of your home country. QIYU CHINA TRAVEL makes no representations or warranties regarding the accessibility or standard of local medical services across China.

We highly advise all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance in your home country covering the full duration of your trip with us. Your insurance policy shall at minimum cover personal bodily injury and emergency medical treatment expenses. You are further recommended to extend coverage to include trip cancellation, trip curtailment, luggage loss/damage, travel delays and all other incidental losses incurred during your journey. You must disclose your travel destination, itinerary type and planned activities to your insurance provider to secure adequate coverage.

Travel insurance is not included in any tour package price offered by QIYU CHINA TRAVEL. You are fully responsible for securing sufficient insurance coverage, and you travel at your own risk if you fail to obtain valid cover.

After your booking is confirmed or your tour has commenced, we reserve the right to adjust your itinerary, daily schedule, accommodation, sightseeing activities and transportation modes due to unforeseen incidents, operational necessities, or concerns over your personal health, safety, comfort and enjoyment, or any events outside our reasonable control. You acknowledge that international travel requires flexibility, and you consent to reasonable adjustments to tour services and routes at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any changes as soon as practically feasible, and we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential financial losses resulting from itinerary or booking modifications.

If a core featured service described in your confirmed itinerary cannot be delivered, we will arrange suitable alternative arrangements wherever possible. If no acceptable alternative can be provided, or you reasonably reject all proposed substitutes, we will process a refund corresponding to the value of unused services, unless the service failure arises from your unreasonable conduct or a Force Majeure event.

If you request voluntary changes to your itinerary, schedule, accommodation, activities or transportation after booking confirmation or tour commencement, we will use reasonable efforts to assist your amendments, but we offer no guarantee that such changes can be fulfilled. All extra fees generated by modifications shall be paid by you in full. Should you choose to cancel partial items of your trip, we will refund only recoverable costs from the cancelled unused services, as determined at our discretion.

If you need to cancel your entire trip prior to departure, you must send formal written notice to your assigned travel consultant via email at the earliest opportunity. Earlier notification will minimize your cancellation charges. All applicable cancellation fees will be calculated based on the date we receive your written cancellation notice.

Cancellation Charges levied by QIYU CHINA TRAVEL

• (a) Notice received 14 full days or more before tour commencement: No cancellation fee
• (b) Notice received between 13 and 7 days before tour commencement: 10% of total tour price
• (c) Notice received 6 days or less before tour commencement: 20% of total tour price

Third-Party Supplier Cancellation Fees

Tour cancellation may incur separate penalties charged by external service providers including airlines, railway operators, cruise companies, hotels and payment institutions. A full breakdown of all third-party fees will be provided to you within 24 hours after receiving your cancellation request.

Certain specialized themed tours may adopt separate cancellation policies. Your travel consultant will notify you of any special terms before booking confirmation.

If we cancel a scheduled tour prior to departure for reasons unrelated to Force Majeure and without fault or negligence on your part, you may select one of the following remedies:

• (a) A replacement tour of equal or higher value;
• (b) A replacement tour of lower value with full refund of the price difference;
• (c) Full refund of all payments previously submitted for the cancelled tour.

We shall not compensate you for any incidental or consequential losses caused by tour cancellation, including (without limitation) visa fees, vaccination costs, non-refundable international or domestic flight/train tickets, parking charges and lost income.

By traveling with QIYU CHINA TRAVEL, you confirm you have fully evaluated all potential health and safety risks associated with your trip. You acknowledge that high-risk outdoor activities and travel within developing regions carry inherent personal hazards. Local hygiene standards, accommodation facilities and transportation services in China may differ from the standards you expect in your home country. You hereby release QIYU CHINA TRAVEL from all claims, lawsuits and liability arising from property loss, personal injury or fatality stemming from inherent travel risks.

You must strictly abide by all Chinese national and local laws and regulations throughout your trip. If you commit illegal acts during the tour, or if in our reasonable judgment your behavior creates danger, severe disturbance or substantial annoyance to other guests, local residents or staff, we reserve the right to terminate all tour services immediately at your cost. You will not be eligible for any partial or full refund upon early termination of travel arrangements due to such conduct.

You shall take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal safety during travel, including proper use of safety equipment and full compliance with all posted safety signage and verbal/written health warnings. Neither QIYU CHINA TRAVEL nor our contracted local suppliers shall be held responsible for loss or damage caused by your failure to follow safety instructions.

We act solely as an authorized booking agent for all partnered airlines. All airline carriage terms and conditions govern your flight tickets, and we accept no liability for flight delays, rescheduling or route adjustments.

Any optional add-on services arranged, selected or booked by our tour guides or consultants are provided solely at your explicit request. We issue no warranties and fully disclaim all liability for accidents, losses or disputes arising from participation in such optional activities.

You must raise any complaints to our team promptly to allow us a reasonable chance to resolve issues on-site. Kindly inform your accompanying tour guide or dedicated travel consultant directly of any dissatisfaction during your trip. We accept no responsibility for complaints that are not notified to us in a timely manner. All post-tour complaints must be submitted to us in written form within 15 calendar days following the final day of your travel itinerary.

QIYU CHINA TRAVEL shall not be liable for death, bodily injury, illness, property damage, travel delays, financial losses (direct or indirect), or any failure to perform contractual obligations if such incidents result from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: Acts of God, warfare, military conflict, terrorist acts or threats, civil unrest, labor strikes, official government intervention, political unrest, riots, uprisings, regulatory restrictions, fire, extreme adverse weather, and any other unforeseeable external events. Any occurrence that we and our suppliers cannot reasonably predict or prevent despite all reasonable care shall constitute a Force Majeure event.

All disputes arising out of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties agree that the courts in Beijing, China shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear any such disputes.
